The Company is presently promoted by Mr. Shishir Agrawal, Mr. Gagan Agrawal, Shigan Autotronics Private Limited, SA Shigan Trust and GA Shigan Trust.

The Company is engaged in the business of designing, developing and manufacturing of varieties of Alternate Fuel Systems including CNG, LNG and Hydrogen Fuel Kit systems to OEM's and others. The Company manufacture Alternate Fuel Systems for heavy duty vehicles, light duty vehicles and off- highway applications.

Shigan Quantum Technologies Limited was incorporated in the year 2008 with an object to manufacture alternate fuel systems in India. Subsequently, the Company gained expertise in various products in the alternate fuel systems, especially in CNG and LNG fuel kits within automotive industry through its in-house expertise and technical assistance.

The Company sourced its critical technologies from MNC companies with whom it has long term technology user agreement / manufacturing license. The Company has entered into technology agreements with companies for developing exclusive products customised to their requirements. It has got exclusive manufacturing rights in India for these products after their development. The Company is engaged in designing, optimizing, manufacturing, assembling, testing and kit integration of alternate fuel systems/kits for heavy/light duty commercial vehicles and buses, power generation equipment and industrial equipment viz. forklifts etc. The Company aim to localize the components of Euro-VI CNG kits in India, which will help to reduce the cost of the total system.

The Company's portfolio of technologies includes electronic controls, hybrid electric drive systems, hydrogen storage and meeting systems and alternative fuel technologies that enable fuel efficient, low emission, hybrid, plug-in hybrid electric, fuel cell and alternative fuel rail. The Company had formed strategic alliance in India with Rail, Nira, EMS Concept, Teleflow, Westport and FirePro servicing more than 50 parts to TATA Motors, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles India, JBM, Greaves Cotton Limited, Albonair, Pinnacle Engines, Ashok Leyland, Baxy, etc.

The Company imports raw materials from countries like Singapore, USA, Chicago, Mexico, Switzerland, China, Hong Kong, UAE, Italy, France, etc. It procure raw materials from domestic suppliers located in Pune, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Bangalore and other domestic market in India as well. Apart from this, the Company export certain components of CNG Fuel Systems to countries like New Jersey, Australia, Italy, Sweden, Canada.

In 2019, the Company was awarded Supplier of the Year at the Vendor's meet 2019.

Since April 2020, Company ventured into manufacturing of Fire Detection & Alarm System and Fire Detection & Suppression System (FDAS &FDSS).

The Company was awarded Certificate of Recognition for Best HR initiative of the Year-WFH Management at Energy HR summit, India in year 2021.
