Jet Freight Logistics Limited was incorporated in April 13, 2006 as a public limited company. The Company is one of the leading freight forwarders, offering complete logistics solutions. The Company offer a wide variety of services to clients, managing over 150 tonnes of air cargo daily with all the leading global airlines. It specializes in perishable, time-sensitive and general cargo, and services in the market includes customs clearance, logistics solutions, shipment of hazardous cargo and ODC consignments.
The Company have a strong presence in key cities in India and cater to over 200 countries in the world. The branches have state-of-the-art technology that supports round-the-clock operational processes, enhancing the efficiency and response-rate. Its infrastructure is well-equipped to handle sensitive daily shipments under tight time schedules. The Company follows a long tradition of excellence in services that reflects a lasting commitment to putting customer's needs at the center of strategic planning, providing value proposition to client and over time, a long and trusted relationship.
In FY 2012, the Company took over Jet Freight on sole proprietorship and crossed a turnover of Rs 10 billion.
In FY 2016, The Economic Times Survey ranked Jet Freight IPO at No.? 2, delivering 136% return to its? ?investors. The Company's IPO was over-subscribed by 5 times more than the issue size.
During the year 2016-17, the Company ranked the No.1 'International Perishable Cargo Agent' by Air India. The Company was awarded 'Top Cargo Agent' by Emirates. The Company incorporated its two Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS), - Jet Freight Logistics FZCO on 01 April 2018 & Jet Freight Express Private Limited on 17 June 2018.
The Company is a leading name in perishable cargo with special facilities for handling frozen and temperature-controlled cargo like pharmaceuticals, vaccines, bulk drugs, vegetables, fruits, cut flowers, tissue culture etc., for air exports. The air exports team works round the clock to ensure safe delivery of temperature-controlled and time sensitive cargo. The Company is the largest IATA air cargo agent in Mumbai, clearing 80-100 tonnes of cargo per day from BOM airport and over 100 tonnes per day from the rest of India - totaling to almost 200 tonnes of air freight every day. Additionally, it also handle third-country imports.
The Company offer ocean freight services to a large portion of vast market. The core business offering is ocean freight forwarding to service the large loads of cargo required by International business. The Company's wide spread agency network ensures to deliver customer satisfaction. The Company has started domestic cargo booking service, pan-India on national and private carriers such as, Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo Airlines, Air Asia, SpiceJet and more on port to port basis. It provide value-added services like door-to-door cargo delivery service on case to case basis, service time-sensitive and perishable shipments besides general cargo and accept shipment on Cash on Delivery basis (COD) ,excluding perishables and time sensitive shipments.
The warehouses of the Company are located in close proximity to the air cargo complex for ease of clearance and deliveries. It offer clients warehousing services for both import and export shipments and temperature-controlled cargo. The Company manages and control inventory, re-pack and palatalize cargo. It offer financing, processing, grading and branding as well as transportation.
In India, being a licensed Customs House Agent (CHA), the Company has the ability to act as an agent for any business with relevance to the arrival or departure of conveyances or the import or export of goods at a customs station. The Company charter flights for over sized cargo, dangerous goods, live animals and perishables and offer both domestic and international cargo chartering services. It can offer efficiency and flexibility by chartering an entire aircraft for urgent or time sensitive cargo. Charter jet categories include turbo crops, live jets, big size jets, super mid-size jets, heavy jets and long range jets.
The Company can offer buyer's consolidation supplied by multiple sellers with pickup and delivery worldwide. The buyers and sellers consolidation brings down freight charges and reduces custom clearing time enabling the Company to make quick deliveries to customers. From start to finish, the consolidation service simplifies the cargo delivery with all services under one roof, lowers the inventory carrying cost and offers the opportunity to capture market share for the Company.
