Company History

Kale Consultants (KCL) was incorporated as Pvt Ltd company on 25th September, 1986 and subsequently became a deemed public limited company on 29th October, 1997. Promoted by technocrat enterpreneurs, Narendra Kale and Vipul Jain in 1986, Kale consultants is now an ISO 9001 certified company, providing a range of application software products and related software services. The company specialies in solution for services industries, particularly Banking, Airlines and Healthcare industries.

Kale Consultants is known for it's innovation and its 'first' - First on-line realtime Hospital management System, First Indian 'shrink wrapped' product for Banking, First Indian company to offer products for the airline industry and so on. Having created a sound foundation in the home market, kale has embarked on a mission to globalise it's business. Towards this, the company has set-up offices/subsidiaries in major markets like USA and Australia.

In order to finance cost of strengthening the infrastructure of the company and to finance investment in the overseas subsidiaries and operation of the company, it came out with a public issue of 31,87,500 equity shares of Rs 10 each, for cash at a premium of Rs 120 per equity shares thereby aggregating Rs 38.25 crs in Sep.'99.

During the year 1999-2000, the company has setup subsidiaries in USA and Australia to penetrate the local markets.

During the year 2000-2001, the Company opened a branch office in London andalso started a joint venture company in Malaysia named Antah Kale Sdn Bhd.These entities functiona as marketing arms of the Company and contributetowards the growth of the Company, while rendering software services andfront-end systems delivery functions for the organization.
