Company History

Scintilla Commercial & Credit Limited, a Non- Banking Financial Company (NBFC), registered under the Companies Act, 1956. It is a listed NBFC Company, engaged in the business of providing loans and advances, investment in shares of other companies.

The company was incorporated as a 'Private Limited' company on 29th January 1990 vide certificate of Incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies, Kolkata. On 27th March 1996, the registrar of companies, Kolkata issued a fresh certificate of Incorporation for the change in the name of the company from 'Scintilla Commercial & Credit Private Limited' to 'Scintilla Commercial & Credit Limited' pursuant to the conversion of the private limited company to a public limited company.

Keeping in view the growth story of NBFC sector, the company had applied to Reserve Bank of India for obtaining certificate of registration for carrying on NBFC business and it was registered with Reserve Bank of India as NBFC vide registration certificate no. 05.02226 dated 16th day of May 1998.
