Kkalpana Plastic Ltd was incorporated in the year October 11, 1989. The Company operates in single business segment of plastic compounds. The Company's customers are wide based and caters mainly to cable and wires industries.
During FY 2014-15, in order to manage entire operations more economical and more efficient, the Company has shifted its registered office from Village: Bhasa, No. 14, P.O. & PS: Bishnupur, Diamond Harbour Road, South 24 Paraganas, WB 743503 to 114/5 Hazra Road, 01st Floor, Kolkata 700 026 with effect from 23rd August, 2014. Due Compliances in this regard has been completed.
During the year under review, the Company changed its name from Kalpena Plastiks Ltd to Kkalpana Plastic Ltd vide fresh certificate of incorporation dated 9th March, 2015 issued by Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.
During FY 2015-16, in order to manage entire operations of the Company more economically and efficiently, the Company shifted its registered office from 114/5 Hazra Road, 01st Floor, Kolkata - 700 026 to 2B Pretoria Street, Kolkata - 700 071 with effect from 16th October, 2015. Due Compliances in this regard has been completed.
The Company has given loans and made investments exceeding sixty per cent of its paid-up share capital, free reserves and securities premium account or one hundred per cent of its free reserves and securities premium account, but within the limits as approved by members of Company, vide special resolution, in its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 22 September 2017, pursuant to Section 186 of the Companies Act, 2013.
