North Eastern carrying corporation was incorporated as a private limited company in the name of Prakarima Leasing Private Limited, on 5th day of December 1984 and become a public limited company on 16th day of December 1985. Further, The Company had changed its name to N.E.C.C. Finlease Limited on 30th December, 1994.

To expand and diversify its businesses, Company merged the Paras Parivahan Private Limited on 18th October, 1997 and entered into Transportation business on 28th April, 1999. Further, The company changed its name from N.E.C.C Finlease Limited to North Eastern Carrying Corporation Limited, to reflect its main business. It has also merged North Eastern Carrying Corporation (a Partnership firm) on 1st April, 2000.

NECC is one of the leading logistic solution provider with offices located throughout India. The Company offers a wide range of transport related services to meet every customer requirement. The Company also provides a broad range of fright management and customized logistics solution backed by a single automated software program.
