Company History

Ambar Protein Industries Ltd was incorporated on 31st December 1992 with the basic object of manufacturing edible/ non- edible oils, oil cakes and 'D' Oil Cake. Presently the company has dealing in segment of refining cotton seed oil and trading and also purchased & packed Refined Cottonseed, Groundnut Oil, Refined Sunflower, Refined Maize Oil and Soybean Oil for resale.

During the year 2015, company refined 20742.98 MT of cottonseed oil in its refinery. It also purchased & packed 24133.05 MT Refined Cottonseed/ Refined Palm Oil and Groundnut Oil, Refined Sunflower, Refined Maize Oil and Soybean Oil for resale.

During the year 2016, company refined 22792.667 MT of cottonseed oil in its refinery. It also purchased & packed 2858.415 MT Refined Cottonseed/ Refined Palm Oil and Groundnut Oil, Refined Sunflower, Refined Maize Oil and Soybean Oil for resale.

During the year 2017, company refined 23026.12 MT of cottonseed oil in its refinery. It also purchased & packed 2781.617 MT Refined Cottonseed/ Refined Palm Oil and Groundnut Oil, Refined Sunflower, Refined Maize Oil and Soybean Oil for resale.

During the year 2018, company refined 23430.29 MT of cottonseed oil in its refinery and refined 2749.27 MT through Job work. It also purchased & packed 2564.14 MT Refined Cottonseed/ Refined Palm Oil and Groundnut Oil, Refined Sunflower, Refined Maize Oil and Soybean Oil for resale.

In FY 17, suspension in trading of equity shares of the company was revoked w.e.f. August 04, 2017.

During financial year 2017-18, the Company redeemed 1,15,000 non-cumulative redeemable preference shares of Rs.100/- each at par, which aggregated to Rs.1,15,00,000. As required an amount of Rs.1,15,00,000 has been transferred to capital redemption reserve out of carried over profits.
